Busy ophthalmology practice is seeking staff to join our established, but every-growing practice. As part of our ophthalmic clinical staff, you will learn some basic scribe/assistant skills as well as how to perform in-office diagnostic testing, to start. This would evolve into becoming a certified ophthalmic assistant. As part of our team, the following skills and traits will be required:
- Be able to work as part of a team in a busy, fast paced environment
- Show kindness and respect towards patients, doctors, managers, and coworkers
- Flexibility to change tasks or assignments as needed
- Organized
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
- Prior experience in an optometry or ophthalmology office is a plus
- Experience with OCT's, Optos and visual fields is beneficial
- Prior experience working with EHR programs
- must have reliable transportation
