DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONALS
The Direct Support Professional (DSP) is responsible for supporting and supervising consumers during activities in the program setting and community at large. The DSP is also responsible for recording data and documentation per the consumer's service objectives. All DSPs are expected to demonstrate a high level of professional judgment and problem solve effectively when supporting consumers in all settings.
All DSPs are expected to provide transportation to and from all community-based activities in Kingsway vehicles. When appropriate, DSPs will be expected to assist consumers in the utilization of public transportation for community activities including buses.
