Tasks to be performed and will be trained to perform:
Setting up Jobsites, Cleaning up Jobsites, Trash disposal, Material handling, Deliveries, Organizing shop, Cleaning Shop, Cleaning Vehicles, Assisting Carpenters with any task required to complete the projects, Demolition, Excavation, framing with wood or metal (of floors, walls, ceiling, & Roofs), firestopping, insulation, drywall, drywall finishing, painting, millwork, cabinetry, tile, tile showers, hard surface floor coverings, entry doors, windows, and occasional siding and roofing with some additions & Remodels. Basic plumbing and electrical skills needed to perform demolition tasks or minor finish tasks. Basic Masonry tasks with repair or minor installs of brick, block, concrete, pavers and related materials. The Carpenter Apprentice is responsible for Assisting Carpenters in completing each project on time, within or under budget, with a high level of quality, and to complete client satisfaction in an organized, clean, professional, and efficient manner.
This position requires working on ladders, extension ladders, scaffolding, and roofs when applicable and will require working at various heights up to 45 feet. It is also a requirement to be able to lift and carry up to 80lbs on a regular basis as the job requires. This position will involve driving and operating larger vehicles and equipment such as box trucks, work vans, forklifts, trailers, and similar equipment, as well as the use of a variety of power tools, saws, pneumatic nailers, and any tools required to perform the tasks assigned.
Material staging of purchase orders on jobsites and at shop, material staging of claim forms, checking in materials, inspecting materials for correctness and quality assurance, picking up materials from vendors, picking up tools and equipment from vendors and shop to take to jobsites. Maintaining a clean and organized shop on a weekly basis which includes putting away tools, materials, and throwing away trash that has accumulated in the shop.
Work performed primarily consists of Residential remodeling including kitchens, bathrooms, basements, interior rooms, whole house remodeling, exteriors, and Addition projects with some light commercial construction.
Valid driver’s license is required to be maintained and must pass a background and drug test.

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
