Clinicians (Part Time and Full Time)

Under the direction of the Clinical Supervisor, the Clinician will be responsible for the provision of direct clinical services to Spanish speaking population at the Family Service Bureau office located in the Kearny and Newark offices as needed. In addition, the Clinician will provide comprehensive mental health assessments, treatment planning, individual and group counseling; facilitate linkages to treatment and other related services.
Responsibilities:
· Conduct psychosocial evaluations and intakes.
· Facilitate individual, groups, and family therapy sessions.
· Consults with psychiatrist and nurse practitioner.
· Participate in weekly clinical staff and supervisors meeting
· Attend conferences with partnering agencies.
· Conduct trainings for the staff to increase cultural competency among clients.
· Participate in community health fairs and outreach activities and develop linkages with appropriate social support system.
· Provide monthly statistics to ensure compliance to contractual guidelines
Qualifications & Experience:
· Master Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy or other related field.
· Licensed in one of the following areas ( LSW, LPC, LCSW, LMFT and LP)
· Two (2) year minimum experience in mental health service.
· Good interpersonal and organizational skills
· Bilingual in English and Spanish; Speaking, Reading, and Writing, preferred
