Santiago & Friends | Family Center for Autism’s mission is to provide culturally and linguistically sensitive therapy and education services to individuals with autism spectrum disorders and related abilities.
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) to join our team. As a BCaBA, you will implement and oversee ABA services, in coordination with an oversight BCBA, to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities in a clinic setting.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and assist the BCBA in conducting comprehensive assessments to identify strengths, needs, and goals of clients
- Develop and implement individualized behavior plans in coordination with the BCBA based on assessment results and evidence-based practices
- Train and supervise behavior technicians and other staff in the implementation of behavior plans
- Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure consistency across settings and promote generalization of skills
- Monitor progress and make data-based decisions to modify behavior plans as needed
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and techniques in the field of ABA
- Adhere to ethical guidelines and standards of practice
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in behavior analysis, psychology, or related field
- Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) certification in good standing
- Experience providing ABA services to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong knowledge and understanding of behavior analytic therapies
- Experience building, leading, and managing staff
- Experience with staff training and supervision
- Ability to create and present trainings/workshops for parents
- Record of success in previous positions as evidenced by excellent references
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Technologically adept and enthusiastic
- Bilingual, English/Spanish preferred
