Event Coordinator/Office Manager Position – Full Time
Duties Include: Helping customers plan events & advising clients on what items they will need, answering phone and email, research & purchasing, running errands as needed, handling accounts payable & making bank deposits, packaging supply orders, preparing paperwork & data entry, some light machine assembly and cleaning, and other office related work. Many hats to wear with this position, so never a dull moment. Starting pay is $22.00 to $30.00 per hour. Full time hours are Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00 PM, with 30 minute lunch breaks (40-42 Hours/Week). Benefits and holiday pay would be available after 6 months. Students welcome to apply. Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Driver’s license and your own transportation is required. Dependability is important. May have to drive company SUV to run small local errands 1-2 times a month.
- High School Diploma and ability to speak English.
- Basic computer knowledge required. We will train someone with no experience that is willing to learn.
- College degree in Hospitality or Event Planning preferred, but not a requirement.
Other Details: We are looking for someone who is reliable, on time, dedicated, and passionate about getting the job done. This would be a great job for someone who works well independently and is great dealing with all types of people. QuickBooks knowledge a plus but definitely not required.
