PRIMARY FUNCTION/RESPONSIBILTY
The Financial Analyst will analyze past financial performance and report on this performance in a meaningful way to organizational leadership.

Must reside in Texas

Analyze business and financial data.

Creates financial models and reporting to support organizational decision making.

Enters data into financial system and reviews income statement and balance sheet for accuracy.

Completes ad hoc analysis for organizational leaders and external stakeholders.

Develops automated reporting and forecasting tools for more efficient use of data.
-
Helps conducts audits/monitoring of external providers.
-
Improve process flows and find efficiencies when necessary.
-
Performs other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.

Two years of professional experience in accounting or financial analysis.
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-
Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
-
Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Auditing Standards.
-
Thorough understanding of methods of systems analysis and the principles, design, and procedural methods used in big data analysis.
-
Thorough understanding of project management.
-
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
-
Strong excel skills.
-
Prior Medicaid/Medical billing experience.
Certifications/Licenses/Registrations:
-
Valid Texas Driver’s License, good driving record, ability to provide own transportation and proof of current automobile insurance.

Pending trainings as required by SJRC Texas/Belong.

Pending license as required by SJRC Texas/Belong.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS AND INFORMATION

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Must have the ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.

Must have the ability to give and receive verbal and written instructions (with or without hearing aids).

Must have the ability to read fine print, have sustained vision, and peripheral vision (with or without glasses).
