About the Role
Spiegelworld is looking for Food Runners to join their team at Superfrico within Caesars in Atlantic City. The Food Runner has responsibilities both behind the scenes and on the restaurant floor. The ideal candidate will have an accommodating personality and ability to work seamlessly between tasks supporting a dining operation that is fun, efficient, and polished without pretense. Ultimately, you’ll ensure we provide excellent guest service by supporting fellow wait staff and staying guest-focused. This is a full time position that earns $18.03/ hour.
Primary Job Duties
Duties include, but are not limited, to the following:
- Deliver prompt, efficient and courteous service of food and beverages to guests in accordance with established standards.
- Deliver food from the kitchen to proper tables and proper seat positions.
- Assis Food Servers and Bussers by clearing used dishes and refilling beverages.
- Assist in keeping the restaurant stocked with proper supplies.
- Actively engage in our antiracist commitment and internal practices by participating in offered learnings, engaging in conversations around Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Accessibility, and helping us maintain a safe and welcoming workspace.
- Provide any additional requests for guests.
- Communicate any additional information from guests to the Food Servers.
- Produce a smooth and efficiently run operation that meets the highest standards of guest services.
- Promote positive guest relations by interacting with guests in an efficient and courteous manner.
- Provide exceptional guest service that differentiates us from the competition.
- Adhere to established grooming and appearance standards, including maintaining a clean and well-maintained uniform.
- Make every effort to learn guest names and use names.
- Adhere to all health codes.
- Taking part in pre-service duties and applicable closing duties
- Other duties as assigned.
What You Bring
Required:
- At least 6 months of experience in a bar, lounge, nightclub or full service restaurant.
- Ability to read, write and communicate verbally in English.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instruction, short correspondence, and memos.
- Effectively assist with a wide variety of personalities and situations requiring diplomacy, tact, friendliness, poise and firmness.
- A highly motivated and energetic personality with a strong commitment to excellence in hospitality.
- Must have valid work authorization for the US
- Successful background check clearance prior to hire
- At least 21 years of age.
Preferred:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience working in an energetic, hospitality driven restaurant or nightlife venue.

- Work is performed in a high volume professional foodservice and theater environment.
