Summary of Position:
They are seeking an Intermediate Urban Designer/Project Manager for their downtown Los Angeles office. This role involves working on large-scale development projects, focusing on the human experience around transit and transportation, and transit-oriented development. It offers opportunities for design and leadership growth.
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver large-scale public projects with a sophisticated understanding of the urban built environment
- Engage with the public and manage various contract arrangements
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary design teams, including integrated project delivery
- Manage internal project teams and track project scopes
- Work with clients and extended teams in workshop settings
- Utilize software such as Adobe Suites, Rhino, Sketchup, and ESRI GIS
- Manage teams and communicate effectively on complex projects
Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of experience in built environments (public or private sector)
- Master’s degree in Architecture, Urban Design, or Planning
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently
- Proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Office 365
