New Recruiting Team Members will join the team as Associate Recruiters. The objective is to learn the job and master the basic skills of a Recruiter.
Pay Range: $44,000.00 annually + monthly commission potential after 90 days of employment
Operational Hours: Monday-Friday approx. 8:00 am-5:00 pm
Location: Edina & Crystal, MN (Onsite)
JOB FUNCTION:
Become skilled in:
- ATS Navigation
- Understanding payroll
- Applicant onboarding
- Sourcing candidates
- Using the phone system
- Making placements
- Creating resumes
- Submitting candidates to clients
- Ending assignments
- Maintaining appropriate applicant status
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Meet individual KPI goals
- Embrace all training efforts and be dedicated to learning company processes and procedures with the intention of becoming a “Recruiter”
- Learn how to interview and screen job applicants and document accordingly
- Learn how to work closely with clients on assigned accounts to fill orders for contingent labor and contract staff with qualified employees
- Learn how to utilize staffing software to manage candidate, employee and client information and to efficiently fill staffing orders
- Learn how to utilize various job boards and the internet to source and recruit candidates for placement at various client companies
- Learn how to offer specific candidate recommendations to client companies
- Learn how to work with contingent labor employees, both in person and over the phone, to answer questions they may have associated with current job openings through Award Staffing, assignments they are on through Award Staffing and other various issues they may have as they arise
- Learn how to counsel contingent labor employees on how to be professional interviewees when interviewing at a client company
- Learn how to maintain relationships with assigned clients by providing courteous phone customer service and reporting issues to management in a timely manner as appropriate
- Learn how to administer background checks, drug tests, skills tests, and other pre-assignment requirements to job candidates
- Learn how to update clients on the status of their orders and accounts with frequent phone and email communication
- Learn how to maintain I-9 compliance by ensuring I-9 documentation is current
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Exceptional phone skills
- Recruiters handle an extremely high volume of inbound and outbound phone calls with other employees, candidates, and clients daily
- Multi-tasking in a constantly changing environment
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to create professional communications
- Strong computer skills utilizing various software programs and applications, including MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint & Excel
- Ability to maintain data integrity
- Bilingual in English/Spanish or English/Hmong is a plus
