The Lot Attendant is the primary owner of the overall management of the presence of our lot. The Lot Attendant will assist in receiving new inventory and repo units to ensure units are received as expected. As the Lot Attendant you maintain the daily inventory check list and also ensure that our units are lot ready. You will maintain all waiting title vehicles in designated lot areas, as well as those waiting for maintenance and detail.
To ensure success you need to be accountable and employ prudence in performing your duties.
Lot Attendant Responsibilities:
- Attending and participating in training and meetings
- Ensuring vehicles are clean and presentable
- Ensuring the lot is organized, clean, and free from trash, litter, and debris
- Arranging and parking vehicles in designated lot areas
- Guaranteeing dealership license plate frames are affixed to vehicles
- Checking vehicles to make sure all required elements are in place for customer to view
- Overseeing and maintaining keys
- Replacing sold vehicles and empty spaces with new inventory, and ensuring most marketable vehicles are put on display first
- Ensuring all vehicles are moved accordingly between service center to maintain the highest number of lot ready units possible
- Maintain and move vehicles though out the Company’s systems to accurately reflect location and status of vehicle during reconditioning process.
- Support Sales Operations as needed with test drives
- Informing supervisor of issues as they arise
- Complying with all company policies and procedures
Lot Attendant Requirements:
- Proficient with driving manual and automatic transmission vehicles
- Completion of drug and background screening
- Ability to follow basic written instructions
- Outstanding organizational skills
