Job Summary:
For assigned customers, The Customer Logistics Associate will collaborate with customers, transportation and warehouse providers, and internal teams to manage all activities related to order management and ensure the most effective and efficient service.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Use appropriate tools, including NetSuite, EDI, Excel, Customer Portals, and other tools, to enable accurate customer orders, on-time shipments, effective inventory allocation, and attainment of customer fulfillment targets.
- Perform the following activities:
- Enter and process product orders for major retail accounts
- Route orders for shipping following account requirements
- Prepare and send Invoices and Advance Ship Notices (ASNs) via EDI
- Add shipping information to invoices, bills of lading, routing documents
- Create and send shipping labels to warehouse
- Project work for customer including information gathering and preparing reports
- Identify opportunities and solutions to improve process and workflow
- Work closely with forecasting and inventory team on customer order activity
- Meet Key Metrics as defined by Artskills
- On-time and in full service targets (OTIF)
- Order accuracy to reduce customer chargebacks
- Timely and accurate responses to sales and customers
Job Qualifications:
The successful candidate must perform exceptionally well in a fast-paced environment and be able to handle multiple assignments. The candidate must be highly organized, resourceful, detail-oriented, and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Job Specifications:
Experience in customer order management, including order entry (EDI and manual order entry) and order review (Experience in Net Suite preferred)
High School diploma, College Degree, or related experience.
Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel required)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) to effectively communicate information and resolve daily order issues with customers
Ability to interact with various levels and functions both internally and externally.
In-depth understanding of customer processes, procedures, and expectations regarding order fulfillment.
Excellent organizational skills
Confidence to take corrective action and/or escalate the issue to the appropriate department
Ability to prioritize
Ability to resolve complex issues
Strong work ethic
Friendly demeanor with a can-do attitude!
