Property Maintenance, Construction, Renovation Worker
Bouse Properties is a trusted name in the industry and widely known in the community! We are looking for a skilled Lead Maintenance worker to manage other crew members & perform upkeep tasks such as apartment repairs light construction/renovation tasks such as kitchen & bathroom remodels. You will be responsible for leading a team in applying basic fixes to equipment and building systems and ensure facilities are tidy and functional. Being reliable with a keen eye for detail is the first step to getting this job. The ideal candidate will have experience and solid technical knowledge. You must possess manual dexterity and physical stamina.
Responsibilities
- Manage team members to get projects completed in a quality manner and on time.
- Perform minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, filling gaps on walls etc.
- Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues
- Install appliances and equipment.
- Perform complete kitchen/bathroom renovations (e.g. remove old cabinets & flooring and install new)
- Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing smoke detectors, mini-blinds, etc...
- Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g. HVAC)
- Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarm)
- Collaborate with co-workers and other professionals during the day
- Report to a facilities or maintenance manager for issues
Skills
- 21 years old or older
- Must have own vehicle and valid drivers license
- Must be handy with power tools
- Able to manage company time well
- Must have professional manner
- Must be able to problem solve
- Experience using hand and electrical tools
- Ability to read technical manuals and drawings
- Very good communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical stamina and dexterity
- High school diploma or equivalent
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
