Under direct supervision, to assist with opening and closing Vote Centers, setting up equipment and supplies, checking in and processing voters, distributing ballots, assisting voters with casting their ballots, explaining the use of voting equipment, ensuring that ballots are collected appropriately, answering voter questions, and printing, scanning, filing, batching, and boxing ballots at a Vote Center or at the Registrar of Voters Office.
This recruitment is to establish an Extra-Help eligible list for the Registrar of Voters.

Special Requirements

Ability to travel to alternate locations in the course of work. If driving, possession of a valid California driver's license prior to appointment and the ability to qualify for and maintain a County driver authorization.

Customer services principles, including the handling of irate and distressed people;
