From our main office in Waldorf, Maryland, Trollinger Law LLC represents injury victims throughout Charles, St. Mary's, Calvert and Prince George's counties, and the District of Columbia. We are also growing through our Frederick office, and you would have the opportunity to try cases in Montgomery, Washington, Carroll and Frederick counties as well. This position is available for potential flex/hybrid attorney work for the qualified candidate.
This attorney will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Managing their personal injury trial and pre-trial caseload, with select workers’ compensation cases
- Representing clients in District and Circuit courts and in front of the Maryland Workers' Compensation Commission
- Negotiating claims for injured workers and motor vehicle collision victims
- Completing discovery with clients at every level and each type of case
- Signing up clients through in person, virtual or telephonic interviews
- Drafting motions, writing legal memos on personal injury cases and workers' compensation claims on appeal
- Working in a team environment to grow our roots in the community by assisting with outreach events when necessary
- Growing their own litigation skills through continuing education opportunities
- Treating our client base with respect and guiding them through the litigation and pre-litigation process
- Other tasks as assigned

Salary and terms will be dependent on experience. Bonuses are available to supplement the starting salary listed. All highly qualified candidates will be considered.
Requirements:
· Candidate must have tried over 10 jury trials to verdict
· Candidate must have tried over 20 district court cases to verdict
· Must have the ability to work for the good of the team, while being able to work independently.
· Candidate must be willing to understand that private practice requires going the extra mile for clients, but able to maintain their own boundaries.
· Must be willing to try personal injury cases of a broad variety of injuries and clients.
· Must be willing to learn the fundamentals of workers’ compensation case, hearing and appeal.
· Candidate must have strong written, and oral communication skills
· Candidate must have a willingness to help people
· Candidates must have Maryland bar license
· Candidates with D.C. or Virginia bar license are desired
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year
