Position: Indirect Category Manager
Job Description:
The Indirect Category Manager is responsible for developing and executing Omni Logistics’ procurement strategy across the indirect categories (excluding IT). This involves the procurement lifecycle, including vendor discovery, vetting, negotiations, contracting, onboarding, performance management, and issue resolution. The Indirect Category Manager will be the Company’s expert in indirect procurement requirements and the marketplace, including in-depth knowledge of existing and emerging vendors. The diligence and expertise provided by the Indirect Category Manager benefits the Omni Logistics enterprise as we develop and maintain market-leading service capabilities.
Core Responsibilities & Duties:
- Analyze indirect market dynamics and company needs
- Supplier discovery and vetting
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive indirect landscape that includes vendor capabilities, services, assets, pricing structures, and other key characteristics needed for solution design or commercial discussions
- Develop and execute sourcing strategy for individual initiatives
- Develop and manage an indirect spend cube with pertinent details on Company’s spend and savings opportunities by market and vendor
- RFQ, select, negotiate, and contract with indirect suppliers
- Manage indirect supplier performance and relationships, including score carding and QBRs
- Liaison with stakeholders across Omni Logistics enterprise
- Act as point of contact (POC) in a large station-based business environment
- Follow up with key stakeholders to ensure procurement activities are carried out effectively
- Project management and reporting
- Create and establish new processes to support business
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work history
- At least three (3) years related experience
- Experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain industries preferred

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
