Summit Helicopters, an employee-owned company, is currently seeking candidates for both spray and utility operations. Summit Helicopters, Inc. conducts a variety of operations ranging from forestry spraying to Firefighting/Charters. Ideal candidates should be career minded experienced CDL Class B drivers who are willing to work in a field environment supporting company aircraft. MUST be willing and able to travel throughout the lower 48.

Job Description
Primary responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Operates Tanker in accordance with Occupational and Safety Health Act (OSHA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements as well as all local, state and federal requirements and Company expectations for the Fleet; maintains a clean and safe vehicle.
- Refueling and loading aircraft.
- Maintain chase vehicles
- Scouting landing zones
- Help maintain safe work areas
- Fulfill general duties in support of the mission
- Mixing and handling herbicides
Required skills/Abilities:
- Class B CDL with tanker endorsement, hazmat also preferred.
- Must be 21 years old
- Must be able to spend up to six weeks at a time on the road
- Must be able to exercise good judgement in a team environment as well as in aircraft operation and safety.
- Must have problem solving and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Must be willing to work in an environment that is subject to changing climate conditions and moderate noise levels and move items of 50 pounds or more on a regular basis.
- Active, valid Driver’s License required.
- High school diploma, or GED required.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment background/drug and alcohol test prior to start. Will be enrolled in our random drug pool.
