Other Conditions: Special/Tuition funds. Both appointments to begin August 2024. Renewal contingent upon satisfactory work performance, availability of funds, and program needs. Selectee is required to pass a criminal background check and complete Title XI training.
Duties and Responsibilities

Teaching undergraduate and/or graduate classes in Kinesiology (e.g. various topics dealing with exercise science, sports medicine/athletic training, exercise, health and wellness, physical activity and anatomy/physiology).

Advise and mentor undergraduate Health and Exercise Science and Physical Education majors.

Teach online and/or hybrid courses for the department.

Assist in the maintenance of national program recognitions or accreditation and related reports for program evaluation.

Perform service to the department, college, university, and the profession.

Teach courses utilizing biomechanical and/or exercise physiology lab equipment such as motion capture systems, force-plates, metabolic cart, etc.

Establish and maintain effective work relationships with staff and colleagues.

Utilize excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills.

Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications

Master’s degree in Kinesiology or in a closely related field from an accredited four-year college or university of recognized standing.

Experience teaching university or college level courses in Kinesiology.
