The position needs QCM Certification and OSHA Certification.
Need at least 5 years plus experience as QCM (Quality Control Manager) and conversant with RMS Software. Required to do following duties:
- Overseeing quality control and health and safety matters on site
- Conducted weekly training programs to train engineers root cause, corrective action, preventing action, and lessons learned
- Field verification and sample collection, testing, reviewing the results
- Working as the technical advisor on a construction site
- Managing, Monitoring, and interpreting the contract design documents
- Day-to day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the work of any subcontractors
- Demonstrated experience on large-scale government contracts (USACE and U.S. Air Force)
- Multi-trade construction experience
- Familiarity with EM-385-1-1
Quality Control Manager Responsibilities:
· Manage overall Quality Management System, policies and standards to support proper and smooth execution of all Quality related activities.
· Conduct DFOW preparatory meetings with subcontractors and client before starting any definable feature of work.
· Schedule material testing and site inspections in compliance with contract specifications.
· To implement preventive measures and corrective action for non-conforming products.
· Responsible for reviewing and uploading all submittals relative to product data, test reports, certifications, etc.
· Monitor/report all on-site testing procedures and results.
· Conduct material and equipment inspections including adequate housekeeping.
· Reviews, comments and approves the contractors Quality Control Plans.
· Manages project audit program.
· Prepares and implements the project inspection strategy to cover all project phases.
· Ability to review and distinguish submittal standards per contract requirements.
Quality Control Manager Requirements/Qualifications:
· Minimum 10 years’ construction experience with at least 5 years QA/QC activities in the construction industry.
· Graduate engineer, graduate architect, or a graduate of construction management.
· Up-to-date Construction Quality Management (CQM) for contractors’ course.
· Valid First Aid Card (preferred) and CPR certification (preferred).
· US citizenship and passing a background check is required.
· Valid Driver’s License
