Purpose of the Role:
The Senior Customer Trade Analyst prepares and provides presentations/summaries leveraging data along with actionable insights to the Customer Development (Sales) team, Broker partners, and internal cross functional teams. To support the analytical process, several sources of data and tools are leveraged to include Sage X3, Circana, and Exceedra, our Trade Promotion Management (TPM) tool.
Key focus is to collaborate with Customer Development Managers (CDM’s), and Broker partners to develop and execute promotional trade activities, scorecards, and ROIs to monitor the effectiveness of all trade investments. Ultimately responsible for providing business insights and strategies to help achieve annual goals, KPIs, and trade spend efficiencies that deliver best in class ROI.
This position is eligible for remote work. We are prioritzing candidates who reside in the following geographical areas: Los Angeles, CA; Dallas, TX; Tampa Bay, FL. We will also consider candidates located in other areas.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for all trade spend support which includes planning, communication, tracking and analysis of trade promotions and spending activities.
Create, monitor, and issue daily sales reports that include insights of sales progress against monthly budgets and identify risks and opportunities.
Review monthly trade and volume forecast accuracy with Customer Development, Demand Planning, and Finance.
Build and update both standard and ad hoc reports to support shipment, forecast, trade and promotion management across internal and external teams.
Assist with timely invoice payments by working with Accounts Payable, brokers and Customer Development teams to gather correct information.
Manage all trade portals, including GS1 Canada, 1Worldsync and Gladson.

Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of related sales, customer, and trade management experience
Advanced analytical and Excel skills
Excellent written and verbal communicator
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite software
Experience with Trade Promotion Management (TPM) tools such as Exceedra
Experience Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems including Sage X3
Expertise in leveraging consumption data (i.e. IRI/Circana or Nielsen)
Ability to plan, organize and carry-out multiple tasks and projects
Ability to travel 10% of the time
Bachelor’s degree in business, mathematics, statistics, or a related field
Knowledge of the Hot Tea and/or Beverage categories is preferred
Physical Requirements:
For the role of Senior Customer Trade Analyst, the physical requirements are generally minimal due to the office-based nature of the job. However, some physical demands may include:
Regularly required to sit for extended periods.
Frequently required to use a computer, including typing and viewing a monitor.
Regularly required to talk and/or listen in conversations with customers and team members, both in-person, via the computer, and/or over the phone.
Occasionally may need to lift and move small office supplies, up to 25 lbs.
Occasional travel may be required for trade shows or meetings, which could involve standing for long periods, walking long distances, and transporting light materials.
Good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment such as computer keyboards, monitors, copiers, and scanners.

Pay and Benefits
The annual pay range for this full-time position is $100,000.00- $115,000.00 annual base pay plus 10% bonus potential. Our pay ranges are guided by the discipline, level, and experience required. Within the range, individual pay may vary based on additional factors, including your specific location, desired skills/ technical competency, relevant experience, and advanced education/ training.
