Duties:
- Perform sterile processing activities, including decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of medical instruments and equipment
- Follow proper aseptic techniques to ensure the cleanliness and safety of all processed items
- Maintain accurate records of all processed items and sterilization cycles
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure that all instruments and equipment meet the necessary standards for patient care
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of sterile supplies and equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the sterilization process
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Previous experience in sterile processing or a related field is preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
