Wheels Up is looking for a world-class Supply Chain Materials Manager in Atlanta, GA to join our team of dedicated and passionate professionals, fueled by the most powerful brand in private aviation, as we continue our mission of democratizing the private aviation space through cutting-edge technology and innovative product and service offerings.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all day-to-day operations pertaining to the Supply Chain Planning department across the Wheels Up enterprise to provide premium service and optimal inventory availability to internal and external customers.

Manage Planning department, personnel, and activities of inventory planning for the Supply Chain function within Wheels Up.

Maintain high service levels to internal and external customers regarding Inventory Planning to determine optimum inventory levels to meet company aircraft availability requirements.

Manage Inventory Planning function of the organization to high standards utilizing latest methodologies and technology.

Responsible for the planning of aircraft components, parts, and materials in accordance with company policies, General Maintenance Manual and FAA regulations.

Coordinate sourcing for major components demand (i.e., Engine, Landing Gear, etc.) for scheduled maintenance events. Working closely with Maintenance Planning and Suppliers to ensure availability of necessary inventory with future Scheduled maintenance events.

Manage departmental analyses and reporting.

Responsible for the Supply Chain programs; Manufacturer Programs, Aircraft Disassembly, MSU.

Update and maintain inventory control system and reporting.

Manage bin stock levels at company sites, MSU’s and third-party remote inventory locations.

Coordinate with and effectively communicate with Maintenance Planning, Maintenance Control, AOMs, Procurement, Suppliers, etc.

Develop, implement, maintain, and audit Policies, Procedures and Work Processes to ISO Standards.

Maintain a management cockpit of critical operational data and metrics. Provide regular reporting to management.

Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
-
10+ years industry experience for Aviation 121 or 135 Operator doing Inventory Planning.

5+ years supervisory experience.

Customer service oriented.

Effective verbal, telephone, written, and interpersonal communication skills required.

Proven, strong communication, negotiation, analytical, and project/program management skills required.

Excellent computer skills. Use of MS Office as well as other necessary software.

Must be willing to work in an environment that is subject to changing climate conditions and moderate noise levels.

Use of personal computer.
-
Travel to Wheels Up Facilities and Sites on a regular basis.
Preferred Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Salary Range
The wage range for this position $85k-$95k base salary is determined on a variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, such as differences in skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. This wage range has not been adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with where the position may be filled. At Wheels Up, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. Your placement within the wage range is primarily based on your qualifications and experience.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
