About the Job:
We are seeking a Phlebotomist-Medical Assistant with a high-level of Customer Service experience to join our in-office team.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Strong phlebotomy skills handling multiple draws per day

Medical Assistant with EKG experience, proficient with medical terminology and office skills to handle responsibilities outside of clinical

This candidate has a strong customer service background and excellent interpersonal communication.

The person for this position will be responsible completing exams for those applying for life insurance. The person will also complete DNA mouth swabs for paternity testing.
Duties & Responsibilities:
-
Previous experience in medical assistance, phlebotomy, nursing, or other related fields. Familiarity with medical terminology computer software, outlook, windows suite.

Strong organizational skills and professional etiquette.
-
Collect vitals, blood, urine and DNA samples.
-
Distribute samples to designated departments.
-
Maintain a clean and healthy work environment.
-
Adhere to laboratory safety policies and procedures.
-
Answer in bound calls & schedule appointments.
Qualifications and Skills:
-
1–2-year practical MA or Phlebotomy Experience.
-
Experience taking VITALS (Height, Weight, & Blood Pressures Readings).

Computer Literate and Proficient in working in Multiple Databases.
-
Can Pass a Federal Background Check.
-
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
-
Excellent communication and listening skills.
-
Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced, team environment.

1 year of experience in a call center environment or a position requiring strong customer service skills.
Requirements:
-
RN, MA, LPN, EMT, Phlebotomy Certification with 1-2 years’ experience.

Customer Service Representative: 1-2 years (Preferred).

Senior Phlebotomy skills: 1-2 years (Preferred).

Phlebotomy: 1-2 years (Required).

Knowledge of Medical Terminology

Location: Michigan (Some travel may be required).
