Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will work closely with children and individuals with autism or developmental disabilities, providing behavioral therapy and support. Your role will involve implementing treatment plans, collecting data, and assisting with patient care. Duties:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Provide one-on-one behavioral therapy to individuals with autism or developmental disabilities
- Assist with patient assessments and data collection
- Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and modify treatment plans as needed
- Support individuals in developing and improving social, communication, and daily living skills
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of client progress and behavior observations
- Follow all HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient confidentiality
Experience:
- Experience working with children or individuals with autism or developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of behavioral health principles and techniques
- Familiarity with applied behavior analysis (ABA) methodologies
- Ability to provide patient care in a compassionate and professional manner
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with the treatment team
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain accurate records and data collection
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred)
- Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain certification within specified timeframe
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel to client locations
