We are seeking an enthusiastic and team-oriented HR Coordinator to join our growing team. This is a full-time, non-exempt position, will be based out of Lodi, CA office and may be required to travel offsite to other locations. At least 2 years of human resources experience preferred. Ideal candidates must have a HR mindset, strong communication, organizational, interpersonal skills and the ability to be flexible.
SUMMARY: The HR Coordinator provides Human Resources products and services to clients for legal compliance and employee relation’s purposes. Assists consultants in employee handbook development, job descriptions, file audits etc. by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Maintains consistent communication and provides updates to consultants on project, questions, etc.
- Conducts research as needed and provides information in a professional format to consultants.
- Performs office operations and procedures such as typing, emails, filing, and other administrative services.
- Coordinates with HR Consultants on trainings, safety and unlawful harassment and other topics as needed.
- Assists in recruiting and interviewing to determine best candidates for the positions.
- Performs reference checks for applicants. Posts jobs on Internet sites.
- Prepares offer letters and new hire packets.
- Updates employee data within the payroll system.
- Prepares employee separation notices and related termination documentation and conducts exit meetings.
- Maintains files, documents, and knowledge of operations and employees in a neat and organized manner, maintaining the strictest confidence.
- Responds to all calls, emails and other communication in a timely and professional manner.
- Supports a positive team working relationship with a professional work ethic and attitude.
- Ability to get along and work effectively with others.

- Manages deadlines and manages time effectively.
- Regular, predictable attendance is required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. This position requires an individual who is highly organized, able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment, and has strong computer skills in MS Office software.
