Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee the quality control process and ensure that products meet company standards.
Frequent (95%) travel required - Travel to Fall Creek, Wausau, Wisconsin Rapids, Fond du Lac, Sheboygan, and Milwuakee area.
Duties:
- Coordinate quality, risk, and/or patient safety aspects of the Wisconsin Department of Health Services Family Care program.
- Collaborate with the Resident Service Director and team on problem identification and resolution, cost containment issues, implementation of new services, and systems/ performance measures.
- Support activities related to quality and risk reduction initiatives and compliance with resident safety standards.
- Analyze and report on data collected from a variety of sources.
- Document receipt of incoming program (home) schedule data, archive files, and maintain a digital filing system.
- Collect, analyze, validate, and reconcile time-sensitive resident-specific incident reporting to DHS and Managed Care Organization partners to ensure accuracy before data finalization.
- Provide data to ensure that Individual Service Plans (ISP) and Behavioral Support Plans (BSP) are complete and correct format with signatures.
- Use web-based tools to identify discrepancies, document findings, and update reports accordingly so that accurate data is supplied to the Resident Service Director and escalate findings to the Executives of the company in a monthly review.
- Perform research on industry norms to ensure data is accurate.
- Monitor reports to ensure that programming requirements and staffing pattern changes are appropriately reflected in the data presented to the Executives.
- Collaborate with Resident Services Management to investigate discrepancies and ensure consistency and accuracy of report content.
- Escalate quality issues to the appropriate resident service team member using proper documentation and assist with investigating and validating the problem resolution.
- Communicate directly with residents to resolve data discrepancies and answer resident questions.
- Works closely and communicates with teammates to ensure all assigned work is completed on time; occasionally works under tight deadlines
- Ensure data integrity by holding yourself and members of the Resident Services Management team accountable for following Browns Living Employee Handbook and Resident Services policies and procedures.
- Develop knowledge of the primary Wisconsin Department of Health Services statutes and regulations for compliance.
Requirments:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to travel to facilities
Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft systems and using of technology
- Strong knowledge of QA/QC principles
- Ability to conduct quality audits effectively
- Familiarity with DHS
- Self motivated and able to work independently
- Strong organization skills needed
