Base starting pay: $37,440-$55,000 based on licensure.
Community Health Alliance is looking for a Prevention Education Specialist to provide gender and culturally sensitive services to women and caregivers including screening, education, follow-up, referrals, case management, consultation and advocacy in relationship to Women’s Issues and Perinatal Care.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides alcohol and other drug prevention education to pregnant women, women of child-bearing age and their support systems.
- Identifies and collaborates with networks to provide education, services and resources for pregnant and postpartum women affected by substance use.
- Provides education on the impact of maternal substance use.
- Promotes a strength-based philosophy and atmosphere to empower clients.
- Facilitates healthcare, behavioral health and other services and supports as part of care coordination.
- Provides community based prevention trainings.
Qualifications:
- Must have one of the following credentials - OCPSA, OCPS, OCPC or LSW.
- High School Diploma and 3 years of relevant work experience in behavioral health or Bachelor’s degree in a social sciences field or related field.
- Valid driver's license, car insurance, and insurable driving record required.
- Willingness to travel throughout the assigned service area.
- Must have reliable transportation.
