Open Positions: Psychiatrist (MD / DO)
Location: Englewood, New Jersey

Work Schedule:
- Clinic hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM
Role:
- We are looking for a compassionate Psychiatrist (MD / DO) to join our team of highly skilled healthcare providers in our Primary Care - Internal Medicine facility, where we also offer psychiatric services.
- The ideal candidate will have experience providing a range of psychiatric assessment, diagnostic, therapeutic, and case management services for individuals, couples, groups, and/or families.
- We are looking for culturally competent candidates with training and experience for a wide range of patient populations (adult and geriatric populations) with varied mental health illnesses and disorders.
- Candidates should demonstrate cultural competence and the ability to address a variety of mental health conditions within a primary care setting.
Responsibilities:
- Build a positive, therapeutic, and trusting clinical relationship with patients.
- Evaluate the patient’s medical and pharmaceutical history, assess the presenting symptoms, and treat mental health illnesses as clinically appropriate.
- Establish an individualized treatment plan, catered to the specific patient.
- Provide ongoing engagement and treatment as outlined by the care plan and necessary to the patient for successful clinical outcomes.
- Prescribe medications judiciously to address mental health diagnoses and related medical needs.
- Prescribe clinically appropriate medicines as necessary to facilitate improvement in mental health diagnoses and holistic medical needs.
- Monitor treatment progress and adjust care plans accordingly.
- Provide case management and coordination of care services as necessary.
- Continue to evaluate patients' treatment progress and care plan.
- Consistent, thorough, and timely documentation for treatment plans and ongoing care.
- Build an outcomes-focused, collaborative care environment for colleagues and patients.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and an appropriate clinical environment for the patient.
- Offer supervision and support to mid-level providers as required.
Requirements:
- Psychiatric / Mental Health experience
- Actively licensed to practice and prescribe in New Jersey
- Active DEA license and ability to prescribe controlled substances
