Sous Chef
Laurentia Vineyard and Winery located in Madison, Ohio is seeking a Sous Chef to work within
their tasting room kitchen. This candidate is responsible for providing supportive leadership to
our Executive Chef and kitchen staff.
Their duties include but not limited to the following:
Prepare menu items according to designated recipes
Prepare and garnish menu items according to specifications
Maintain sanitation standards in food preparation and cooking areas
Monitor food quality and contact chef if there are issues
Set-up workstations with all necessary ingredients
Prep ingredients to be used in cooking
Prepare food using various methods
Keep a sanitized, orderly, and safe environment in the kitchen
Ensure all food products are stored properly
Maintain good attendance and punctuality
Maintain Laurentia standards
Receive deliveries
Keep products in proper order and organized
This position reports directly to our Executive Chef. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with the requirement to work special events, holidays, and the flexibility in scheduling to meet the needs within the kitchen and tasting room.
