Athletics Operations Manager
POSITION SUMMARY
The Athletics Operations Manager provides administrative support for the Department of Athletics. The ideal individual will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities.
TASK & RESPONSIBILITIES

Interfacing daily with the Athletic Director on all fiscal concerns

Process and record accounts payable transactions and ensures that all requisitions invoices and reimbursements are paid accurately and according to financial policies

Responsible for creating and monitoring the athletic team travel process

Providing data for completion of all NAIA, RRAC and University reports

Alongside Athletic Director, develops and executes event management plans for all events hosted in assigned Athletics facilities

Serves as Event Manager for events held in athletics facilities. Manages internal and external constituents and event service providers resulting in successful event operations
QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree (Required); Master’s Degree (Preferred)

Three years of experience as an intercollegiate athletic administrator and/or coach with oversight of team travel and/or game day operations

Ability to speak read and comprehend the English language

Advanced computer proficiency and the ability to learn additional programs

Preferable knowledge of NAIA rules and regulations

Professional demeanor and ability to work effectively with various constituencies including students, faculty, administrators, and the general public

This position reports to the Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Director
SALARY RANGE

$47,000 annually, plus benefits!

Founded in 1875, Huston-Tillotson University is Austin's first institution of higher education.
