Instant Auto Body is seeking an Area Manager with a proven track record of accomplishments within the automotive industry who is able to work independently and is driven to achieving results. The ideal candidate will be organized, fair, approachable, coachable, flexible, and have genuine interest in helping our technicians and Instant Auto Body succeed. The Area Manager position will also be responsible for overseeing operations, sales, and financials for the respective area.
We are not just looking for a manager/supervisor, we are looking for a sales-driven leader!
Responsibilities:
· Maintains current customer base.
· Enlarge Instant Auto Body's customer base and market share..
· Willing to travel around the area up to 75% of the time.
· Leads and supports a culture focused on customer satisfaction, sales growth, and retention.
· Hires and retains high performing technicians.
· Ensures optimum productivity in a safe environment.
· Maintain the quality of repairs.
· Creates and maintains a work environment where employees have the tools, resources, training, and support necessary to operate in the most efficient and effective manner possible.
· Monitors sales, cash flow, inventory, and security controls.
· Helps execute marketing plans.
· Works with District Managers and Human Resources to ensure proper staffing in place to handle current and new business.
· Has the ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including some holidays and evenings.
· Leads OSHA required Safety Meetings with Technicians.
Qualifications:
· Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
· Previous management experience.
· Automotive service experience and some knowledge of automotive painting/body work.
· Excellent communication and time management skills.
Area Manager Job Details
- Liaison for all work between dealership and Instant auto body
- Inspect vehicles to be repaired as they come into the dealership
- Maintain relationship with dealership management
- Properly invoice and submit all billing .
- Follow up with dealership to ensure all invoices receive a RO, PO and signature
- Researching when needed with dealership to resolve matters of communication
- Assist and communicate with transportation of cars
- Organize work to ensure it has been within company standards and time requirements
- Inspect and Audit Front Line to ensure standards and quality
- Maintain service drive sales, volume and communication
- Communicate with Operations manager on all issues occurring at locations
- Partner with HR on recruiting and interviews
- Place orders for supplies and check out to techs.
- Ensure Key Control and other Risk Policies are being adhered to daily
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Area manager's are responsible for Performance Management, Discipline, Hiring or Terminations
Working Conditions
- Job duties are primarily performed driving or in a outdoor environment.

Requirements
- Previous management experience preferred
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

- Participate in field town hall communications
Customer Engagement (30%)
- Ensure fulfillment of services meets customer expectations

- Maintain knowledge of customer pricing and service expectations.
- Expediently address customer, operational, and performance concerns.
- Identify and implement value-added customer solutions
Driving Performance (20%)
- Drive talent selection and hiring for area roles needed
- Deliver operating performance in terms of LSR, Employee Engagement and Retention
- Drive operational efficiencies, understand and implement standard operating procedures, and effective cost reductions without damage to five-star service expectations.
- Address day-to-day operational issues, ensure maintenance of customer sites and perform QC
Administration (20%)
- Coordinate supplies and parts ordering management
- Troubleshoot most critical operational issues
- Maintain clean, organized work areas
- Support policies and procedures on ethics standards and commitments
- Ensure effective invoicing processes are implemented and maintained

Position Requirements
- Proven ability to manage, coach, and lead others.
- 3 years proven operations experience in a similar type of environment.
- Auto and reconditioning industry experience preferred.
Physical Job Requirements
- Continuous viewing from and inputting data to a computer screen.
- Travel as necessary (up to 20%).

Salary: $56,046.00 - $76,484.00 per year
