A prestigious nationwide healthcare organization providing service to a chain of nursing homes in Cranford, New Jersey is looking to immediately hire a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with an active NJ license to work collaboratively with their teams of cardiologists and healthcare professionals at various nursing homes across the state of New Jersey (Travel expenses will be reimbursed), providing comprehensive Cardiology care to patients. Your expertise in diagnosing, treating, and managing Cardiology conditions will be pivotal in delivering high-quality patient-centered care. These centers offer a compensation package based on a combination of a base salary and the Relative Value Unit (RVU) system, with an average total compensation ranging from $90,000 to $120,000 per year and a benefits package.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive cardiology assessments, including patient history and physical examinations,
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as cardiac imaging studies and stress tests, to evaluate heart function and diagnose cardiology conditions,
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients with cardiology disorders, including heart disease, arrhythmias, and hypertension,
- Assist with cardiology procedures, such as cardiac catheterizations and echocardiograms, and
Provide patient education on heart health, lifestyle modifications, and medication management.

Qualifications:
- 6 months experience in long-term care,
- DEA License,
- Active NJ state license,
- Experience in cardiology (1 year min.), and
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
