SUMMARY:

EDUCATION/SKILLS REQUIRED:
- A high school diploma or GED is required. ACCOUNTABILITIES:
The duties of the Production Manager include, but are not necessarily limited to, the following:
- Establish the Company's long-range operational goals and objectives in support of the growth and profit goals set by the President.• Continually strive to conceive new ideas, products, and/or services for the Company to achieve its primary goal of increasing profits, in an ethical manner.• Participate in the selection and appointment of theproduction personnel.• Assist in establishing Measurements for employeeperformance.• Maintain open communication with all employees, particularly those who report directly to him/her.• Perform all other tasks and duties assigned by senior management.• Maintains Safety Policies and Practices• Ensures facility areas are kept in a high state of cleanliness, free of all safety hazards and organized.• Submits the reporting of all square footage, completed, errors and breakage with explanation.• Process jobs only if you have the necessary slab sign –off / waiver, work orders approved drawings on specification and / or templates.• Ensures all quality control forms and status verification sheets are completed for each job and corrective action is enforced when guidelines are not followed.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Minimum of five years experience in fabrication orinstallation environment, with two years in a lead/supervisory position.• Advance level technical knowledge of the proper operationof any / all equipment• Must meet the basic level of proficiency andunderstanding of routine equipment maintenance and trouble shooting.• Must meet the basic level of proficiency and competencyfor the safe operation of material handling equipment.• Must understand the detailed quality control inspectionprocess and ensure quality assurance on all cut jobs.• Ability to detect process and system deficiencies and clearly describe improvements that will enhance quality throughput.• Basic level of proficiency with programming software• Ability to communicate on professional level with co-workers & management, technical engineers, and customers.
WORKING CONDITIONS/ENVIRONMENT/SCHEDULE:
This position will spend most of the time working in an environment that is relatively loud and can be wet. Will be exposed to all types of weather conditions when checking the inventory outside or when making a delivery to a job site. Eight (8) to ten (10) hour workdays each week, with occasional Saturday work. This position deals with high volume production and a work environment that can be stressful in a highly competitive industry.
MEASURES OF PERFORMANCE
The Production Manager shall be deemed to be performingin an acceptable manner when the following have been accomplished:
- Quality Product Service Score of 9.5 out of 10.• 98% On Time Production.• Effectively manages direct labor costs to meet installationprofit margin goals and industry standard square footage production.• 3000-5000 square footage a day which can vary with seasonality and growth.• Reduce overtime to properly align with production output and departmental budgets.
1. All major employee grievances and customer complaints brought to the attention of the Presidenthave been resolved or are in the process of being resolved within 24 hours.
- Policies and Procedures are consistently maintained.Passes spot check audits noting procedures are followed. COMPENSATION:
- Salary: $90,000 - $130,000 Annually• Bonus Structure – $20,000 Annually (TBD)

- Make sure all Machine Operators are following their process for their Machine including CNC Saw Pre-Auto Cycle checklist, CNC Router Pre-Auto Cycle Checklist, Inline Polisher on Machine check lists and maintenance schedules for their machines.• Supervise and physically check finger bit and tooldiameter and make sure machine is set up properly for the daily operation.• Supervise pod placement on each machine. No cycle can only be run with supervisor sign-off.• No more than 3 minutes of pause between cycles on a dualtable.• Leave tables fully loaded (single or dual table) at the end ofthe workday.• Make sure operators do not slow feed speed down lower than 80% EVER.
