POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a skilled Sawyer to operate our CNC sawyer machines in our cabinet manufacturing facility. The Sawyer will be responsible for cutting and shaping materials according to specifications to ensure the highest quality standards for our products.
SHIFT
- Monday-Friday.
- 4:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
- Some overtime and weekend work required based on business needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate CNC sawyer machines to cut wood and other materials as per detailed blueprints and specifications.
- Adjust machine settings for optimal performance and ensure accuracy in cuts.
- Inspect materials for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
- Monitor machine operations to prevent errors and ensure efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Matches materials for color, grain, or texture.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance, arrive on time for scheduled shifts, and adhere to the company’s attendance policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
- High School diploma or GED.
- Experience specifically in manufacturing cabinets for commercial and multi-family residential projects preferred.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Proven experience as a Sawyer or similar role in a cabinet manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in operating CNC sawyer machines and other woodworking equipment.
- Knowledge of different types of wood and materials used in cabinet making.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Physical stamina and strength to lift and move materials as needed.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to understand read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ensuring that safety is always top priority while working.
- Ability to work schedule as assigned.

SAFETY EQUIPMENT: Frontier Door and Cabinet’s Safety Program and all established safety rules must be followed. This will include safety glasses, safety shoes, and hearing protection (when needed) while on the production floor. This position will also require the use of gloves and a respirator while spraying.

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
