The Dispensing Nurse is responsible for the following:
- Preparing and administering medication to Program patients.
- Maintaining medication inventory records and logs in compliance with Federal and State regulations.
- Observing and appropriately recording and reporting changes in a patient's condition.
- Providing physical addictions-related consultations to patients on an as-needed basis.
- Recording such consultations in the patient's record.
- Coordinating medical treatment by providing information to patients about other services, such as hospitals and inpatient treatment facilities.
- Attending administrative, staff, and clinical treatment meetings.
- Maintaining license to practice nursing in Maryland and CPR certification.
- Participating in professional development activities to maintain state-of-the-art knowledge and skills relevant to Bayside Recovery duties.
- In medical matters concerning the well-being of patients, consulting with the Medical Director or Nurse Practitioner/Physician’s Assistant for guidance.
- Providing random, supervised urine specimens for drug screen testing at the request of the Program Director or Lead Dispensing Nurse.
- Performing other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Pay: $24.00 - $32.00 per hour
