New York Center for Child Development has an opening for a full-time temporary Speech Language Pathologist to join our team to provide CPSE related services in our center-based program located within West Harlem. This position will be available and contracted from September 2024-January 2025. NYCCD is a dynamic Committee of Preschool Special Education (CPSE) program dedicated to excellence in education and treatment of young children with special needs.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide speech services for preschool-aged children of age with developmental delays, per the IEP
- Write daily session notes and quarterly progress reports
- Maintain effective working relationships with parents and staff
Requirements:
- New York State Speech Language Pathologist License
- New York State Teacher of Speech and Language Disabilities (TSLD/TSHH)
Qualifications:
- Experience working in a preschool setting, preferred
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
