Restaurant Cleaners is an NYC-based, leading janitorial services provider for restaurants and bars throughout the city. Restaurant Cleaners currently manages a portfolio of 40+ restaurants and bars to oversee their overnight janitorial cleaning.
Restaurant Cleaners is looking for a Account Sales Manager to create and nurture long-term relationships with customers. You will resolve any issues that arise to ensure customers are satisfied with our services. In this role, you should be an excellent communicator who’s able to grasp customer needs and brainstorm ways to fulfill them. If you have a background in customer service and knowledge of our industry, we’d like to meet you. Your goal will be to help us safeguard our revenue and retain our customers. Customer Retention and Customer Acquisition are at the forefront of this role.
In addition to Account Management, there is also the opportunity for commission pay. You will attend sales meetings with potential clients who are interested in retaining our services. You will prepare proposals using our pre-made templates, you will follow up with emails/phone calls and do your best to acquire new clients. Every new client comes with an up-front commission pay, as well as an annual retention bonus. You will have a monthly travel reimbursement account as well as a monthly spend account to eat and dine at client locations in an effort to solidify and strengthen our relationship with our clients.
Responsibilities
- Existing Customer Retention & New Customer Acquisition
- Build relationships with customers and key personnel.
- Create plans to address clients' needs with our in-house field supervisors.
- Schedule regular on-site meetings with customers to ensure they are satisfied.
- Act as point of contact for complaints and escalate issues as appropriate
- Ensure both the company and clients adhere to contract terms
- Study competition to find new ways to acquire and retain customers
- With management, set sales and revenue targets and work diligently to meet them
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. field supervisors, overnight-cleaners, billing, management) to address customers’ needs
- Draft proposals and follow up regularly.
- Schedule Weekly/Monthly on-site visit with clients at client restaurant locations.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Account Manager or Relationship Manager
- Experience in a Sales position is a plus.
- Background in customer service; industry knowledge is a plus
- A customer-oriented attitude
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Problem-solving aptitude
- Bi-lingual is Required (English & Spanish)

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
