As an Accounting Assistant, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Assisting with the day-to-day management of all payment cycle activities in a timely and efficient manner, including invoice processing, daily bookkeeping records and accounts payable and receivable.
2. Performing daily balances and maintaining accurate records of all transactions.
3. Processing and monitoring incoming payments and securing revenue by verifying and posting receipts.
4. Ensuring all transactions are properly recorded in the company's general ledger.
5. Process bi-weekly payroll with monthly sales commissions and employee maintenance.6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions.
7. Organize and maintain filing systems for easy retrieval of financial documents.
8. Assist in the preparation of financial reports and summaries.
9. Provide support in various administrative tasks within the finance department.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
