Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Crane Assembly/Disassembly Director to oversee and manage all aspects of crane assembly and disassembly operations within our organization. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing the safe and efficient installation and removal of various types of cranes at project sites. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, extensive technical knowledge of crane assembly/disassembly processes, and a commitment to safety and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Coordination:
- Develop detailed plans for crane assembly and disassembly projects, considering factors such as site logistics, crane specifications, and safety requirements.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site personnel to ensure timely and efficient execution of crane operations.
- Technical Expertise:
- Provide technical guidance and oversight during crane assembly and disassembly, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
- Troubleshoot technical issues that may arise during operations and implement effective solutions.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and regulations during crane assembly and disassembly activities.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead a team of crane operators, riggers, and technicians, providing guidance, training, and mentorship as needed.
- Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the crane assembly/disassembly team.
- Budget and Resource Management:
- Monitor project budgets and expenses related to crane operations, ensuring cost-effective practices and efficient resource utilization.
- Procure necessary equipment, tools, and materials required for crane assembly/disassembly projects.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of crane assembly/disassembly activities, including project timelines, equipment inspections, and incident reports.
- Generate comprehensive reports for management and stakeholders to track project progress and outcomes.
Requirements:
Experience in the wind industry- Valid NCCCO Certification
- Willing to travel up to 6+ weeks at a time
