Job Summary:
The Programs Evaluator will be trained to assist with daily Group Home operations and processes pertaining to state licensing and contract regulations. Requirements are based on licensing rules found in Title 21, Chapter 8. Group homes have additional requirements identified in Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C.) Title 6, Chapter 5, Article 74.

Sunshine provides clean, safe, and structured homes for children in Arizona who are victims of abuse, abandonment, and neglect. Since 1996 Sunshine Residential Homes has offered shelter, safety, health, love and healing to over 25,000 children in Arizona in need of emergency out of home placement. We are committed to helping the children in our care to reach their greatest potential by providing educational, medical, social, emotional, spiritual, and recreational opportunities.
We are a mission orientated team working together to support nearly 300 children in our local community. At Sunshine, we work hard, but we have a lot of fun, too! We are currently growing and looking for individuals who want to make a difference in the lives of kids.
General Responsibilities:
o Weekly inspection of houses as assigned.
o Complete and submit inspection forms in a timely manner, ensuring the document is accurate and reflects the current condition of the physical plant and house documentation.
o Report inspection deficiencies immediately via text and/or phone and through inspection email reports.
o Immediately report any licensing concerns, general deficiencies, and/or incidences witnessed to the appropriate parties.
o Immediately report maintenance issues.
o Send reminders and follow-up with House Managers and Program Managers regarding current focus, as needed.
o Fix minor maintenance items and coordinate with chain of command for emergency items needed to maintain compliance with licensing and contractual rules.
o Update and utilize SharePoint trackers as assigned.
o Update checklist as needed.
o Assist in front office duties as needed.
o Provide constructive and professional feedback regarding job-related responsibilities, processes, and workflow.
O Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Motor Vehicle Record will be reviewed for disqualifying violations
- Must have reliable transportation for daily driving
- Must have Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Must have High School Diploma or GED
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 per year
