Border Grill at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino is a celebrity chef owned, award winning restaurant group. We are a growing company with a small, tight knit group of dedicated individuals that are passionate about food, beverage, service and hospitality. We are looking for a dedicated, organized Administrative Assistant who enjoys working as part of a team in a fast-paced culinary environment. Above all, the employees will conduct themselves in a way reflecting the culture and philosophy of Border Grill.
Accounting and HR background preferred.
- General office administrative work
- AP & AR
- Food and Beverage inventory documentation processing
- HR Processing includes onboarding, tracking of employee work cards and Benefits.
- Maintain adherence to official policies, procedures, and practices.
· Assist with payroll
· Communicating with vendors and contracted services
```Qualifications```
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a related role
- Proficient in using phone systems and office management software
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Exceptional customer service skills
Strong accounting background preferred. HR knowledge is a plus.
