Technical Support Specialist
Job Summary:
The Technical Support Specialist will take direction and work closely with the RMA Manager to troubleshoot, repair, and recalibrate various electronic assemblies and instrumentation, while maintaining excellent records and communication. Main duties will include working directly with customers regarding technical support of products and with the engineering department to assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions when necessary.
Requirements:
· Comfortable conversing with customers via email, video call, telephone, etc. regarding best ways to resolve potential issues with products
· Driven to develop a technical knowledge of all products and their applications
· Attention to detail with an emphasis on product improvement
· Capable of working and learning independently
· Capable of lifting up to 25 lbs.
· Enthusiasm in being part of a small, growing company
Desirable Education/Skills:
· Experience in a customer service-related role is preferred
· Experience in a manufacturing environment that stresses quality assurance
· Certified in IPC-7711/7721, J-STD-001, and/or IPC-A-610 standards
· Extensive knowledge of electronics and troubleshooting techniques
This is a full-time position with benefits. Compensation is commensurate with experience. Benefits include health insurance, retirement, paid holidays, compensated leave, profit sharing, and more. Generally, the work schedule is Monday-Friday 8 A.M. – 5 P.M.
