JOB SUMMARY
As a Maintenance Technician, you will work as a part of a dedicated team to ensure the highest standards in service delivery, facilities maintenance, and resort presentation are met. You will routinely respond to a wide array of engineering and facilities needs and can expect to regularly interact directly with resort guests and fellow team members in the pursuit of achieving these high standards. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, responding to service calls, troubleshooting and/or repairing residential and commercial appliances/equipment, performing interior and exterior routine/preventative maintenance, grounds care, painting, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical.
To be successful in this role you must exhibit a willingness to work as a part of a team and should possess a general knowledge of residential repairs to include, plumbing, appliances, electrical, carpentry, painting, and flooring. Diagnostic experience with electrical, HVAC, and plumbing a plus. You must also demonstrate dexterity using the machinery, equipment, and tools necessary to maintain and make repairs throughout the Hilton Head Health Campus, Sweetgrass Inn, and residential condos/villas.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, variable shifts.
Driver's License required.
2+ years maintenance experience necessary.
Ability to understand written and verbal English instructions and carry them out with minimal or no direct supervision.
Willing and able to work in all weather conditions.
Full Time: $16-$22 Hourly
