JOB SUMMARY: The Maintenance Tech is responsible for the up keep of the entire community. This position is responsible for a variety of areas including plumbing, carpentry, and electrical systems. Duties include inspecting buildings, maintaining inventory, and general repairs.

Inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repair throughout the community.

Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs community-wide.

Performs general repairs and routine maintenance. Examples may include repairing drywall, painting, and repairing doors and lightbulbs, and other building fixtures.

Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facilities.

Repair and replace furniture parts and components per assigned work order or preventive maintenance schedule in a safe and timely manner.

Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues.

Report to facilities or maintenance manager regarding issues resolved, those needing attention, and those currently in progress. Comply with applicable federal, state and local laws, rules, and regulations; maintains knowledge of and follows all Plymouth Place policies and procedures.

Maintain regular and punctual attendance at work and meetings.
SHIFT
MONDAY - FRIDAY & EVERY 5TH WEEKEND ROTATION 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Advanced understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques.

Ability to follow instructions from the supervisor.

Knowledge of general carpentry and repair.

Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
-
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail, problem-solving and multi-tasking skills.

Ability to read, write and speak English sufficient to perform job duties and to interact and communicate with patients and employees.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
