Northern Virginia Account Manager Job Description.

The account manager is responsible for the following duties:
- Managing the existing revenue and building the territory into a fully functional branch operation.
- Manage all existing customer relationships in the territory while building relationships with new potential customers.
- Coordinate scheduling of commercial operations to include routine maintenance operations and commercial enhancement projects.
- Ensure that commercial maintenance and commercial enhancements are completed within budgeted and contracted hours and to Meridian and customer quality requirements
- Develop quality relationships with commercial maintenance clients including face-to-face meetings, quality inspections, and exemplary customer service.
- Develop and implement production training for maintenance field personnel on seasonal operations including but not limited to Mulch, Mowing, Pruning, Leaf Removal, and Snow Removal.
- Manage snow operations with the help of the Snow Operations Manager and Production Manager.
- Order and coordinate deliveries for enhancement projects.
- Maintain inventory of maintenance-related materials (round up, pre-emergent, mulch, etc.)
- Conduct monthly equipment inventory inspections and report any lost, broken, or damaged equipment to the General Manager.
- Institute routine maintenance plans for equipment and schedule preventative maintenance.
- Learn Meridian estimating programs and assist in bidding on new contract maintenance projects.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to maintenance production managers as well as foremen to include actionable goals and positive and negative feedback.
- Recruit, interview, hire, discipline, and terminate (when necessary) field staff.
- Perform property inspections with the production manager and customers.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
