SUMMARY
As a Senior Business Analyst / IT Specialist, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and IT solutions within the organization. The role will analyze business processes, gather requirements, and collaborate with IT teams and 3rd party platform providers to design and implement technology solutions that address business challenges and opportunities. This role requires a combination of business acumen and technical expertise to effectively translate business requirements into IT solutions.
The primary role of the Senior Business Analyst / IT Specialist involves managing, investigating, and resolving data quality issues within the enterprise’s applications. This includes:
Manage, investigate, and resolve data quality issues within enterprise applications.

Supervise inbound data to ensure completeness and accuracy.

Overseeing NDA reporting and implementing data integration strategies for distributors and customers

Analyze and rectify technical issues with data feeds.

Own and develop relationships with partners, working with them to optimize and enhance integrations.

Develop and execute a unified data integration strategy for NDA.

Evaluate and enhance the current reporting platform.

Facilitate data collection and reporting integrations for new clients.

Manage relationships with data platform providers.
-
Provide support and enhancements to the CRM platform.

Provide ongoing support and training to end users to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of implemented solutions.

Develop and implement data analytics tools and strategies to understand key business metrics deeply.

Provide detailed reporting on the status of IT projects and systems and advise on technology changes.
OTHER FUNCTIONS:

Assisting in reporting strategies for the NDA Supplier program.

Conducting data mining using Microsoft Access.

Translating business requirements into technical specifications and solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure successful deployment and adoption of IT solutions.

Occasionally visiting members and attending NDA conferences to foster networking opportunities.
Job Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5 plus years of Experience in foodservice distribution or related industries is a plus.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

Experience with Microsoft Access.

Proven experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on IT projects and initiatives.

Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Familiarity with customer success and relationship management software.

Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques, as well as knowledge of IT development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).

Strong communication, customer service, and presentation skills.
-
Occasional overnight travel may be required (up to 5%).
