Specific Responsibilities
This position involves leadership of the global corporate cash management function and various finance-related projects. The optimal candidate will have corporate cash management experience, strong managerial and interpersonal skills, the ability to multi-task in a dynamic work environment with interaction across functions, and a willingness to grow with the position.
Lead and develop a team of cash management professionals with global operations
Oversee daily cash settling, near-term cash forecasting, and investments of excess cash in accordance with company policies
Manage the daily operations of our syndicated debt facilities and commercial paper program
Responsible for management of our financial assurances, primarily related to the decommissioning of offshore assets
Maintain strong dialogue with Corporate Finance and Planning to ensure efficient management of cash and liquidity
Lead special projects where Treasury input is required (e.g., corporate credit card program, airplane lease financing, standalone lending facilities, etc.)
Prepare materials for senior management and the Board of Directors as directed
Manage intercompany cash flow, including intercompany lending, dividends, and capital contributions, in collaboration with other departments
Oversee our domestic and international bank accounts and ensure compliance with internal policies
Ensure compliance with all internal policies and accounting controls applicable to cash and bank account management
Other ad hoc projects as directed
Qualifications & Experience
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
10+ years in Treasury or finance-related field
Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
Financial analysis skills with a solid understanding of accounting principles
Strong understanding of debt and equity capital markets
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Team player with managerial experience
Oil & gas industry experience
