Job Overview:
We are searching for a qualified and self-motivated certified medication aid to join our medical facility. The ideal medication aide will be extremely detail-oriented and possess in-depth knowledge of patient care procedures. Providing excellent communication and interpersonal skills are needed as well as ensuring following patient privacy rules.
Duties:
- Room patients, stocking medical supplies
- Monitor and record vital signs of patients
- Maintain accurate medical records
- Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure proper patient care, and uphold all health and safety standards
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Certified Medication Aide or in a related caregiving role
- Knowledge of medical terminology and physiology
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Skills:
- Knowledge of medical records management and documentation
- Understanding of basic nursing procedures and protocols
- Ability to provide compassionate care to patients in various settings such as medical offices or home care environments
