FSQA Coordinator Duties
- Assist with investigation and resolution of customer complaints or questions
- Provide information, as requested, to customers in a professional, timely manner
- Provide assistance to the Food Safety & Quality Manager and General Manager when needed
- Review testing results and ensure corrective actions are taken and documented when needed.
- Communicate with suppliers to obtain necessary documentation for supplier approval
- Develop, implement, and revise Standard Operating Procedures as directed.
- Serve on Food Safety and Food Quality teams.
- Participate in Internal Auditing as required by the Internal Auditing Plan
- Participate in Third Party and Customer audits
- Participate in Quality Review Team meetings
- Develop Finished Product Specifications and Processing Procedures
- Develop and maintain processing instructions for finished products
- Participate in developing food safety control points and quality control points (HACCP)
- Use Statistical Process Control to develop specification parameters
- Determine attributes and parameters required to meet finished product specifications
- Develop Nutritional Reports utilizing the provided software
- Provide backup and assistance to the Quality Technicians
R&D Duties
- Communicate with sales regarding customer sample requests and R&D projects
- Manage the Sample Request and Creation Process
- Develop Raw Material Specifications
- Prepare product samples to meet customer requests or match existing customer products and specifications
- Package and ship product samples in a timely manner to meet customer needs
- Manage the Shelf-Life Study Program
- Manage storage and accessibility of shelf-life study records
General/Other Duties
- Observe all Good Laboratory Practices
- Will represent themselves positively and professionally in all JES Foods activities and communications both internally and externally
- Perform other duties as assigned
