Job Summary:
As a Server at our establishment, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional table service to our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure a delightful dining experience by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Duties:
Essential Job Duties:
- Set up tables and maintain work stations in an organized manner.
- Take orders accurately and deliver items promptly and courteously.
- Clear tables during and after meal service to ensure a clean dining area.
- Assist guests by answering questions about the menu items.
Other Duties:
- Support in upholding excellent customer service standards for our patrons.
- Assist with dishwashing and ensuring clean dishes are available as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in work areas.
- Adhere to personal hygiene standards and comply with the dress code.
- Complete assigned cleaning tasks efficiently.
- Attend training sessions as required.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
- None, but helpful
- Experience in customer service and food preparation is preferred.
- Proficiency in using POS systems like OpenTable or Aloha POS is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact graciously with customers.
- Knowledge of basic math for handling cash transactions and using the cash register.
- Familiarity with kitchen operations and food service protocols.
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest experience.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
This role involves working indoors, standing or walking for extended periods. The ability to lift up to 20 lbs independently is required. You should also be able to push/pull bus carts weighing up to 50 lbs. Bending, stooping, reaching, and balancing are frequent activities during the workday. Good vision, hearing, and speaking abilities are essential for this position.
